Required Vaccines in Florida
Dogs:
- Canine Distemper
- Leptospirosis
- Bordetella
- Parainfluenza
- Hepatitis
- Canine parvo
- Rabies
- Roundworms
- Hookworms
- Adenovirus ( canine hepatitis)
Cats:
- Rabies
- Feline distemper (panleukopenia)
- Caliciviral
- Feline herpes virus (feline viral rhinotracheitis)
- Hookworms
- Roundworms
Amphibians, Reptiles, and Birds do not have any required vaccines at the moment. However if you have a pet ferret, they are required to have the rabies vaccines.
Dogs, Cats, and Ferrets are required to get the rabies vaccines by the time they are four months old and are only exempt if the vet determines that the vaccines is detrimental to their health.
